We had a great stay at this hotel!! They had everything we needed. We really wanted to get into the awesome pool, but didn't have time. The only thing that I would request is that they add some fruit to the breakfast buffet, otherwise, everything was great. They were great abouy a slightly early check-in and and hour late check-out. We will definitely stay here again. Also. Its within walking distance to some restaurants.

Great place to stay! We loved everything about it. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were a good size and had both microwave and fridge. Front desk workers were very friendly and knowledgeable!

The stay was great! The upstairs people were a little loud but overall we enjoyed our stay. The biscuit and gravy were top tier and the eggs on Wednesday were great! The eggs on Thursday were not good. The service desk people were so great! Very Kind and Respectful! I will definitely stay here each time I come visit San Marcos.

Those this location because we had a graduation nearby early the next morning. Hotel was in perfect spot. We even walked to Chili's for dinner which was nice. Room was great. Comfy bed. Good AC. Good shower head and water pressure. We got 2 queen beds for family of 4 and everyone slept great. Breakfast was tasty and a good basic variety. My nephew and I were fans of the mini waffles! Would definitely recommend or stay here again.

Location is right by the river which was great. The rooms were clean which is what I care about the most. The decor was a little dated but I did not care because I care more about if everything is clean. Restroom, towels, and bedding was clean too. Had a nice pool but didn’t get in. The breakfast surprised me in a good way! They had a lot to offer! I’m glad we booked this hotel instead of another “nicer” one we were thinking about. We will definitely book this one next time we go take a dip in the San Marcos River.

Our stay at the Wyndham Hotel in San Marcos was lovely! A HUGE thank you to the staff! We booked two rooms side by side, and everything went smoothly. The beds were super comfortable (the pillows could use a little upgrade, but no biggie). The rooms were clean, spacious, and came with plenty of towels—which we appreciated. We loved that each room had a mini fridge and microwave. We used both! There was also a TV, so we ended our nights watching movies as a family. Yes, there was a little noise from the AC, but it wasn’t a major issue at all. Breakfast was amazing. We definitely took full advantage of it both mornings—waffles, eggs, sausage—everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. They even have a little shop next to the front desk where we grabbed waters, candy, sodas, and other snacks during our stay. We didn’t get to use the pool this time, but it looked great and we’ll definitely check it out next time we’re in town. Also, having a Dutch Bros right next door was a total bonus! We walked over late at night for some sweet treats—such a fun perk. We were in town for the state baseball championship, and this hotel’s location was 10 out of 10. Restaurants, shopping, and Walmart were all within minutes. It was super convenient, especially with a group. Parking was never an issue—we always found a spot. They also have laundry facilities on-site, which is a huge plus for longer stays. There are other hotel options in the area, but many are pricier. For us, this was the perfect fit. Great customer service, a great stay, and we will definitely book here again if we’re ever back in San Marcos. Highly recommend—10/10!

We had a great stay at Wingate during Grand Prix weekend in Austin - Wingate was a good affordable location within 30 minute drive from CoTA. The rooms are decent - air conditioning was great, beds were comfortable. There are little things, like the elevator being a tad sketchy, and some odd spots on the curtains. But we had a wonderful stay here, and my dad really enjoyed the pool. The highlight was service - staff were so warm and welcoming. One of the team remembered us from our airport pit stop and let us check in early, waiting their usual fee. It was fun to stay and chat with other Grand Prix attendees. There are also coffee, fast food, and gas stations immediately nearby. We would definitely come back.

First time here! Loved every moment I was here! Very clean!! Staff very friendly! Staff went above and beyond to help me have a wonderful time here! I will be back!!
